BREED WRESTLING DELAY STARRCAVE
It’s with deep regret that we have been forced to delay Starrcave. We will be announcing a new date ASAP but it will be in the first half of October.
We will be refunding people who can’t make it. A full statement here:https://t.co/ry1byhbRQe
— Breed Pro Wrestling (@BreedWrestling) September 4, 2019
Unfortunately, Breed Wrestling has announced that this Sunday’s Starrcave event will be postponed until the first half of October.
The Sheffield based promotion had been hoping to hold the worlds first ‘Starrcave’, a wrestling event inside one of the Peak District’s huge caves.
The delay is due to unforeseen licencing restrictions. Breed Wrestling posted a press release regarding the delay on their website:
Here’s what’s happened… Peak Cavern are great, and when we talked about putting a show on in The Cave they could not have been more supportive. We believed we had all the licenses we needed and so did they. A few days ago, a complaint was made to the local council about the show being put on in The Cave, and the council have informed us we need a different license none of us were aware of, to put on Starrcave in a cave. That’s on us, we honestly thought we had all the bases covered and we’ve messed up.
Breed Wrestling goes on to offer full refunds to anyone unable, no questions asked, though they will honour the original tickets.
We promise this will be the best show we can produce under these circumstances, we are grateful beyond belief to anyone who still attends our show and see’s what we think will be our biggest card to date, and we completely understand those who this no longer holds any interest for.
If you would like your tickets to be refunded, please let us know. We would love for you to stick with us through this difficult time and witness what will undoubtedly be a great show in the Peak Cavern when we get there. Every refund requests will be honoured, no questions asked.
The card for the event is detailed below:
- Chuck Mambo vs. Mike Bailey
- Daniel Makabe vs. Michael May
- David Starr vs. Spike Trivet
- More Than Hype: Darren Kearney, LJ Cleary, and Nathan Martin vs. Schadenfreude: Chris Brookes, Kyle Fletcher, and Mark Davis
