PROGRESS rounded off their March weekender in Birmingham, with a lot of fallout from yesterday in Bournemouth and another slot at Ally Pally decided.
Chris Ridgeway qualified for the field of 16 for 2019’s Super Strong Style, forcing Spike Trivet to submit via armbar, joining DJZ and Jordan Devlin, who qualified yesterday.

Do Not Resuscitate attacked Ridgeway post match, but Eddie Dennis, Jimmy Havoc and Mark Haskins saved him from further damage.

Do Not Resuscitate did had some good fortune that night as Bill Eaver and Chuck Mambo beat The Anti Fun Police, once again courtesy of a spare turnbuckle brought in by Chuck Mambo.
Havoc and Haskins bounced back from disappointment in Bournemouth to defeat Team Whitewolf in a highly competitive tag team match, A-Kid succumbing to a rainmaker/roundhouse kick combination.
Fair play to @CarlosRomoPW and @AKidWrestler, I wanted to make a “me and @ThisIsHaskins murdered A Kid” joke today but they’re tough motherfuckers.
Promoters: if you’re not booking them yet, you should be. https://t.co/93fps1AAaf

Jordan Devlin joined forces with El Phantasmo and Angelico in the main event of the evening but they were unable to stop the South Pacific Power Trip in a lucha rules six man tag. TK Cooper got the win rolling up ELP using the ropes for leverage.
Not satisfied with walking the top ropes, @elpwrestling pulls the most remarkable move out of the bag. #chapter86 pic.twitter.com/dQlZx4weqo

After some negotiations between the two that fell apart, Trent Seven beat Austin Theory in non-title action, with the Atlas Division Champion defeating the EVOLVE Champion with his burning hammer.
.@trentseven has declined @austintheory1's goad for today's match to be a title match. The Evolve champion is not happy as his plan to enter #SSS16 is scuppered. #chapter86 pic.twitter.com/xT4PTxhbqA

Finally, DJZ could not make it two out of two this weekend as he lost to Eddie Dennis.
Three suicide dives was enough for @EddieDennis1986 as he reacquainted @IAmDJZ with the apron. ? #chapter86 pic.twitter.com/9Xj2Dj0Uuc
