SAMOA JOE REPORTEDLY INJURED ON RAW

During RAW, Samoa Joe teamed with Kevin Owens to face RAW Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins & Buddy Murphy with the gold on the line. At one point during the match, Joe hit a dive and grabbed the back of his head. He was then pulled out of the match and taken to the back.

PWInsider reports that the injury was 100% legitimate and WWE medical personnel made the decision to pull him from the bout. Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that the belief is that Joe suffered a concussion, although that is not confirmed yet.

The rest of that match was reportedly called on the fly, with Owens taking Rollins and Murphy one, two-on-one.

THREE INDIAN RECRUITS JOIN PERFORMANCE CENTRE

WWE announced today that Gurvinder Singh, Sukhwinder Grewal, and Laxmi Kant Rajpoot have signed with the company and reported to Orlando, Florida to join the Performance Center.

Singh and Grewal were both trained by The Great Khali and are 7-foot tall. Rajpoot has athletic experience in javelin throwing and taekwondo.

MARTY SCURLL MAKES SHOCK APPEARANCE AT NEW JAPAN USA SHOW, CHALLENGES JAY WHITE

‘The Villain’ Marty Scurll made a shock appearance in North Carolina at New Japan Pro Wrestling’s New Beginning USA tour.

Scurll appeared in Durham and issued a challenge to Jay White for a match at ROH’s Supercard of Honor XIV. Scurll hasn’t been seen in NJPW since his participation in last year’s Best of the Super Juniors tournament. He re-signed with Ring of Honor earlier this year and now has more influence in booking decisions alongside longtime booker Hunter Johnson.

THREE BIG NAMES CONFIRMED FOR TNA TRIBUTE SHOW

Scott Steiner is one of a host of big names that have recently been confirmed for Impact Wrestling’s throwback show, ‘TNA: There’s No Place Like Home’.

Steiner joins former X Division Champion Chris Sabin, former multi-time tag team champion Chris Harris and Mr. Anderson and D’Lo Brown, representing ‘Aces and Eights’.

‘TNA: There’s No Place Like Home’ is taking place at The Ritz in Ybor City, Florida on Friday, April 3rd.

BOOKER T RETURNING TO THE RING AS G.I BRO

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T will be bringing back his G.I. Bro gimmick for the upcoming Reality of Wrestling “Battle Lines Drawn” event on Saturday, February 8th from Booker’s World Gym Arena in Texas City, Texas.

Booker will be the Team Captain for the ROW team, leading Bryan Keith, Zack Mason and Warren Johnson into battle against Ryan Davidson and The Renegades in an eight-man tag team match.

TWO MATCHES ANNOUNCED FOR FINAL CHRIS BROOKES SHOW

On tonight’s ‘SchadenStream’ Chris Brookes announced two matches for the latest ‘Schadenfreude and Friends’ show, his final show before he moves to Japan for the rest of 2020.

Via the speech function on his phone, he announced that the Anti-Fun Police trio of Chief Deputy Dunne, Los Federales Santos Jr. and Gene Munny will face Young Guns (Ethan Allen & Jacobs) and Chris Ridgeway. Also, Big Guns Joe will face Kurtis Chapman

Schadenfreude and Friends 7 takes place at the Frog and Bucket in Manchester on the 18th of February.
