After SmackDown went off the air last night, WWE announced that Seth Rollins would be captioning a team in a men’s Survivor Series Elimination match. Please see the full announcement:
Seth Rollins named first member of Team Raw ahead of Survivor Series
Monday Night Rollins is ready to go for Team Raw at Survivor Series – who’s ready to join him?
After being named the first participant for the red brand, Seth Rollins is set to address the WWE Universe as he awaits the reveal of his teammates. By the end of Monday night, the full Team Raw lineup will be complete.
The Beastslayer is attempting to move past the loss of his Universal Title at WWE Crown Jewel and lead Raw to brand supremacy at Survivor Series. With Survivor Series inching closer by the day, the rest of the Raw Superstars will be set on making an impression and earning the golden opportunity to join Rollins in the inter-brand battle.
Tune in Monday at 8/7 C on USA Network to see which red-brand Superstars step up to accompany Rollins in the war against SmackDown and NXT.
See the card so far, detailed below:
- Brock Lesnar (c) Vs. Rey Mysterio WWE Championship match
- Becky Lynch Vs. Shayna Baszler Vs. Bayley Non-Title Triple Treat match
- The Viking Raiders Vs. The Undisputed Era Vs. The New Day Non-Title Tag Team Triple Treat match

SMACKDOWN RATINGS CONTINUE UPWARDS
After last week’s hastily organised NXT invasion show, SmackDown continued its upward trend in the ratings.
Last night’s episode averaged 2.617 million viewers across the two hours. This was an increase of almost 3% (2.91%) on the week before’s 2.543 million.
The real warning signs were from the 30th of November show, where SmackDown was broadcast on FS1 and only averaged 888,000. Interestingly this weeks episode of SmackDown was taped earlier in the UK, then broadcast from tape in the United States. Taped WWE shows generally don’t fare so well in the ratings.
