UNITED STATES TITLE MATCH ANNOUNCED FOR NEXT WEEKS RAW

Seth Rollins vs. Rey Mysterio has been set for next week’s Raw, following what happened on last night’s episode.

Seth Rollins and AOP beat down Rey Mysterio following him making the save for Humberto Carrillo, who had been DDT’d on concrete by Andrade. AOP bet up Rey as Seth taunted him, saying that he would be merciful. They started to walk away, but then Seth curb-stomped Rey. Later, in a promo for Charley Caruso, Rollins made the challenge to Rey for next week.

This show has already been taped following last night’s RAW to allow the WWE Superstars time off over the holidays.

NEW WWE TITLES COMING SOON

Wrestling belt creator Dan Beltzer, who runs Belts By Dan and has made several WWE titles over the years, noted on Twitter that a new United States Title belt has been delivered to the company, but there’s no word yet on what it looks like.

He also posted on Twitter that Wildcat Championship Belts is doing most of WWE’s title work these days and he does not leak news on belts that he is working on. Dan noted back in late November that new SmackDown Tag Team Titles have been sitting around for 6 months unused.

KAIRI SANE PULLED FROM IN-RING ACTION

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Kairi Sane is currently not cleared to wrestle.

There was concern over Sane possibly suffering a concussion in the main event of WWE TLC. The latest reports say that Sane was apparently knocked out during the first few minutes of the match. There’s no solid word yet on when she was put out, and WWE has not confirmed the concussion to Sane or any other injury at the time of this being written.

Jorge Arias, a.k.a. Sin Cara made his debut in AAA this past weekend in the promotion’s Guerra de Titanes event following his WWE release.

On Instagram, the former Sin Cara is going by “Cinta de Oro”, who was the name of the Ciudad Juarez legend who trained Arias. However, Luchablog has found a Facebook post from a woman named María Zárate claims to have ownership of Cinta de Oro since 2016.

The people in Arias’ Instagram post are allegedly the sons of Cinta de Oro to show that he has the approval from the family to use the ring name. However, in the same Facebook post from Zárate, a profile of who appears to be Ciudad Juarez legend Ari Romero himself or a relative of his says that the men in posing with Arias are not Cinta de Oro’s legitimate sons.
