On August 1, the Talk ’N Shop podcast are taking their show to PPV in the form of Talk’N Shop A Mania. In what’s being dubbed as “Wrestling’s Greatest Parody Event” and “a wild, booze-soaked wrestling event”. This PPV sees Talk ’n Shops usual hosts Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson and Rocky Romero alongside an abundance of other notable wrestling stars partaking in filmed skits and matches that will air on FITE TV.
Like most things within this current wrestling climate, this PPV has been pre-taped and was done so in Gallows’ backyard. It is also key to mention that everyone involved in this PPV was tested for COVID-19 beforehand and was a requirement before enabling people to enter the premises.
Though the card remains fairly unknown, we do know there will be a plethora of notable talent there. Ranging from recently released WWE Superstars to Gallows and Anderson’s current IMPACT locker room wrestlers, there is a diverse range so their will most certainly be something or someone in this PPV for everyone to enjoy. The inclusions range from nZo (fka Enzo Amore), Heath Miller (fka Heath Slater), Chavo Guerrero on commentary, Rhyno, Hornswoggle, Willie Mack, Raven, Rock ’N Roll Express and many more.
As previously stated, the card is relatively unknown as of now but there have been a few teases here and there. The most notable match is the Boneryard Match which sees Sex Ferguson (Doc Gallows) vs Chad 2 Badd (Karl Anderson). Being a parody of their final WWE match, the Boneyard Match, this match pits their Southpaw Regional Wrestling alter egos against each other.
In addition to this, there was a trailer posted on YouTube, to the Talk’N Shop Podcast channel, where you get to see teases of “A Contract on a Tree Match” and “A Social Distancing Battle Royal”. The purpose of this PPV, in Gallows’ words, is “to make you laugh and have a good time, sit for an hour and a half and forget about this pandemic, really just have fun”.
Make sure to watch Talk’N Shop A Mania, in what is being built as a hilarious and entertaining PPV, over at FITE TV on August 1.
