THE REVIVAL REPORTEDLY ASK FOR RELEASE AGAIN
According to Bryan Alvarez on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Live, The Revival are still trying to get out of their WWE contracts, having asked for their release again.
They both reportedly made this request last week. There is no word on what the companies response was.
Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder reportedly first requested their releases back in January 2019 after being unhappy with how they were being used in the company. It was then reported in May 2019 that both men turned down new 5 year contracts, said to be worth $500,000 per year.
WWE SUPERSTARS UNHAPPY WITH LIVE EVENT CUTBACK
WWE is cutting way back on their live event business, with no non-televised live events this weekend. The company has just 19 live events scheduled for the month of February. 11 of those events are NXT, and the next supershow live event takes place on Sunday, February 9 from Fresno, California.
The next RAW live event is scheduled for Sunday, February 23 in Brandon, Manitoba and the next SmackDown live event is in Elmira, NY on Saturday, February 29, and also is the only one of the month.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, non-televised WWE live events started to lose money last quarter as attendance has been down for a while now, and that attendance decline has hurt the WWE stock price. According to the Observer, most of the WWE Superstars didn’t find out about the cutback in live event business until the recently received their booking sheets for February and many WWE talents are reportedly unhappy about how this has gone down.
The main event superstars will be effected significantly via merch sales, but reportedly the rest of the roster will see a drop in income because they’re working fewer dates.

He posted on his Instagram about the diagnosis, saying;
“Goal for 2020 and beyond: wear more sunscreen! Basal cell carcinoma removal scheduled soon. Another opportunity to remind everyone to look after your health and #getchecked.”
To put anyone reading at ease, BCCs grow slowly, so with early detection and treatment, most cases are curable. It’s rare for basal cell carcinoma to spread and become life-threatening.
