TYSON FURY TO APPEAR ON THIS WEEK’S SMACKDOWN

WWE has announced that Tyson Fury will appear on this Friday’s episode of SmackDown, taking place in Fury’s hometown of Manchester.

The announcement of Fury being on this week’s SmackDown was made on last night’s episode of WWE Backstage.

This weeks SmackDown will also have Roman Reigns vs. King Corbin and The Revival defending their SmackDown Tag Team Titles against The New Day. Those matches were originally scheduled for last week but didn’t happen due to WWE’s travel delays.

RANDY ORTON SIGNS NEW WWE CONTRACT

HULK HOGAN TO UNDERGO SURGERY

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan is set to undergo surgery next week.

Hogan revealed to Sports Illustrated that he will be undergoing another back surgery next Tuesday.

Hogan said;

“I’m going in for another back surgery next Tuesday. They’re going to fuse six levels together, so we’ll see how I feel after that.”

BASZLER VS KAI ANNOUNCED FOR NXT TONIGHT

NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler and Dakota Kai will wrestle on tonight’s episode of NXT.

When Baszler called Kai a potential “wasted pick”, Dakota tweeted that she’ll prove to Ripley that she should be on her team, which set up the match tonight.

BASZLER AND RIPLEY PICK TEAM MEMBERS FOR WAR GAMES

Rhea Ripley and Shayna Baszler appeared on WWE’s The Bump this morning and announced their first two team members.

Tegan Nox and Candice LeRae will be on Rhea Ripley’s team for TakeOver: WarGames, while Bianca Belair and Io Shirai will be on Shayna Baszler’s team.

JOAQUIN WILDE SET TO RETURN TO INJURY

NXT star Joaquin Wilde is cleared to return to the ring. He shared the news on his Instagram story.

Wilde had surgery last month because of a broken eye socket, putting a steel plate in his face. The injury happened back in July while he was training. Doctors had held off surgery for a few weeks to see if the injury would heal itself.

AEW WOMEN’S TITLE MATCH MADE FOR FULL GEAR

It was announced this morning that AEW Women’s Champion Riho will defend her title against Emi Sakura at Full Gear.

Riho became the inaugural AEW Women’s Champion by defeating Nyla Rose on last month’s Dynamite premiere. She has also successfully defended her belt against Britt Baker.

Sakura, who trained Riho, defeated Penelope Ford, Allie, and Sadie Gibbs in a four-way match on last week’s AEW Dark.

Full Gear is this Saturday from the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland.

AEW DYNAMITE MATCH CARD ANNOUNCED

Here are the matches announced for tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite. It is taking place in Charlotte, North Carolina. This will be the go-home show for the Full Gear PPV.

  • Private Party vs. The Dark Order vs The Hybrid 2 (The winner faces SCU for the AEW Tag Titles at Full Gear)
  • Trent vs. Pac
  • Shawn Spears vs. Brandon Cutler
  • Shanna & Riho vs. Emi Sakura & Jamie Hayter
  • Hikaru Shida vs. Big Swole
  • Promos from Jon Moxley and Cody

Some of these may be taped for AEW Dark.

IMPACT HARD TO KILL HEADING TO DALLAS

During last night’s Impact, it was announced that Hard to Kill will take place in Dallas, Texas on Sunday, January 12th, 2020.

Slammiversary XVII took place at Gilley’s Dallas this July and was headlined by Sami Callihan defeating Tessa Blanchard.

NJPW ANNOUNCE WORLD TAG LEAGUE PARTICIPANTS

New Japan Pro Wrestling have announced the full field of teams for the 2019 World Tag League. The tournament will start on November 16th in Kanagawa and end on December 8th in Hiroshima.
