WWE CANCEL PAY PER VIEW
WWE has reportedly cancelled this year Backlash pay per view. Fightful has reported that as a result of moving the scheduled Saudi show from May to June and the two shows would have only been 9 days apart. WWE specifically canceled the event for advertising reasons. The Saudi show has been pushed back as WWE has added Money In The Bank to the established ‘big four’. WWE likes to space out their marquee shows as much as is possible and hence the reason for the move.
Although WWE hasn’t publicly advertised the show, it was listed on their touring schedule. As well, the venue due to host the event, the Pechanga Arena, were until recently advertising the show.

The reveal came in episode 13 of The Road to Double or Nothing mini-series.

CM PUNK CONFIRMED AS HOODED MAN AT INDY SHOW
At an MKE event last night, a hooded man interfered in the main event, hitting a Go To Sleep on Daryck St. Holmes and allowing Ace Steel to pick up the win. This normally would pass under the radar, except for the fact that it was heavily rumored that the man under the hood was CM Punk. WrestlingInc has reported that it was definitely Punk, going as far to detail a plan for Punk to remove the hood. The plan was seemingly scuppered by Punk and Colt Cabana’s falling out.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has reported that Punk has actually been appearing for different independent promotions since at least 2015.
This is all very exciting, but unfortunately is only rumor and conjecture, there has so far been nothing from the man himself.
