THIS WEEKS WWE VIEWERSHIP
RAW has come in for another pasting in the ratings. WWE’s flagship show recorded only 2.3 million viewers on Monday night, this is only 100,000 more than SmackDown the week before. The real issue with RAW was the loss of viewers throughout the show. RAW managed to shed 400,000 viewers through the second hour and lost another 500,000 viewers before the end of the 3rd hour.
SmackDown didn’t have an easy time either this week. The show managed to attract 2 million viewers. This is the lowest viewed SmackDown since February 12th.

WWE PRESSURE FROM STOCKHOLDERS AND SPONSORS
Brad Shepard from ‘Oh, You Didn’t Know’ has reported that WWE has received pressure from prominent stockholders and sponsors to drop the Firefly Fun House gimmick. Apparently, WWE received the feedback on Tuesday morning, with the general message being that they “didn’t like the whole cult leader of children vibe”. While this is somewhat understandable for a company marketed at young children. It has proven a popular gimmick among older fans and on the internet, these groups will have been pleased when the vignette aired on SmackDown that evening. The reairing of the clip would seem to indicate that the company is pushing forward with the angle.
