BRET HART ASSAILANT CHARGED
Bret Hart was shamelessly attacked by an attendee during his speech at the Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com has reported that the assailant is a failed MMA fighter. Apparently, Zach Madsen had left a job at Allstate Insurance to focus on an MMA career.
CBS confirmed that he had been arrested and it is understood that he was taken to the 78th precinct in Brooklyn. He was charged with two counts of assault and trespassing.
Madsen had also been arrested late last year for violating a protection order. pic.twitter.com/GKCSXzhmgh

Apparently, it was all a work, although one that the booking team appears to be unhappy with, along with the majority of the audience:
Just got a text. 100% work. Was told the upper level office pushed for it despite booking team being largely against it. https://t.co/XfPUueJgpt
