ROMAN RETURNING TO RAW

Vince McMahon has announced that Roman Reigns will be making an appearance on the next episode of RAW. Using his personal Twitter feed to break the news, McMahon promises that Reigns will be updating everyone with his progress.

Roman has been absent from RAW since the October 23rd episode when he revealed he was battling leukemia. Although he hasn’t been totally absent from social media, popping up at a college football game in November. In early January Seth Rollins gave an interview saying Roman was “doing great”.

 

BECKY LYNCH ON RAW

PWInsider is reporting the suspended Becky Lynch is scheduled to appear on this week’s RAW. Alongside Roman’s return, another hotly promoted angle is Ric Flair’s 70th birthday party. Considering the beating Becky put on both Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey at Elimination Chamber, the smart eyes may look for her return during this segment. 

 

THREE STARS RELEASED BY WWE

ARN ANDERSON RELEASED?

Pro Wrestling Sheet has reported that Arn Anderson left the WWE on Thursday and has been “apparently been let go”. Seemly supporting the story, Rusev has tweeted thanking Arn for his help and support.

Cody has also seemingly weighed in on the situation tweeting:

There has been no official word as of the time of writing.

 

MATT HARDY’S CONTRACT NEARS EXPIRATION

Matt Hardy has revealed that his contract expries in only 11 days. Using his Twitter account, and “Broken” persona, Hardy tweeted:

Not a threat at all, just a fact. I have 11 days left on my current deal. I love @WWE, but I’m 100% comfortable being outside the walls of pro wrestling’s “Alexandria” Safe-Zone. I’m a born SURVIVALIST.

My previous tweet will NEVAH face DELETION.

The threat Jeremy is speaking about refers to another tweet from Hardy where he points out that he has been successful in other promotions and is comfortable away from WWE.

 

 

HONOR RISING NIGHT ONE RESULTS

Last night saw the first night on New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor’s joint show Honor Rising 2019. The card featured 3 title matches.

LUCHA UNDERGROUND EXEC’S SHOCKING COMMENTS

Co-executive producer of Lucha Underground, Chris DeJoseph, thinks that the show won’t be returning for season 5. Replying to a fan on Twitter, Chris was fairly blunt with his assessment:

Hopefully, as DeJoseph says, the producers manage to make it work again for season 5.
