AEW ANNOUNCE NEWEST SINGING

AEW has announced their newest signing as being none other than Jimmy Havoc. Posing a simple welcome message to their Twitter timeline alongside an image reading ‘Jimmy Havoc is #ALLELITE’.

Havoc trained in the UK under Andre Baker with the likes of Zack Sabre Jr. and Finn Balor. Jimmy made his debut in 2004 wrestling the NWA Hammerlock promotion. Since his debut, Jimmy has made a name for himself all over the world promoting his own style of deathmatch while amazing fans.

SASHA BANKS STILL NOT CLEARED TO RETURN

Sasha Banks is still waiting to be cleared for ring work after picking up an injury at the Royal Rumble. Appearing on RAW to compete for a place in the Women’s Tag Team Elimination Chamber, Banks was never actually involved in the match, being taken out before the contest could begin. It isn’t clear what injury Sasha acquired during her match with Ronda last month, but it is assumed not to be overly serious.

UNDERTAKER REMOVES ALL WWE BRANDING FROM SOCIAL MEDIA

One of WWE’s all-time greats, The Undertaker, has removed all mention of the WWE from his social media accounts. This has caused quite a storm in the community with many fearing that the deadman’s time with the company had come to an end. More interestingly, Taker has replaced mention of the WWE with a link to book him for personal appearances. At this time there is no official word on Taker’s contractual situation.

MATCHES ADDED TO ELIMINATION CHAMBER

WWE has been busy fleshing out the card for next week’s Elimination Chamber event, set to take place in Houston, Texas. Firstly, the company finalized the Women’s Tag Team Elimination Chamber match. The teams set to compete for the resurrected Women’s Tag Team Titles are:

  • Nia Jax and Tamina
  • Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville
  • The Riot Squad (Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan)
  • The Iiconics (Billie Kay and Peyton Royce)
  • Bayley and Sasha Banks
  • Naomi and Carmella

The WWE has also added a Cruiserweight Championship match to the card. Current champion, Buddy Murphy, is set to take on Akira Tozawa.

DATES RELEASED FOR ROH-NJPW’S WAR OF THE WORLDS TOUR

ROH announced today that the upcoming ‘War of the Worlds Tour’ will be taking place at the start of May and run over four consecutive nights. This will be the month after the two companies run their first joint show at MSG over WrestleMania weekend.

The dates of the shows are as follows:

  • May 8 Buffalo
  • May 9 Tronto
  • May 11 Grand Rapids Michigan
  • May 12 Chicago

Tickets for the shows go on sale on the 13th of February for Honor Club members, tickets go on general release on the 15th of Feb.
