WWE SIGN FORMER X-DIVISION CHAMPION

The WWE has signed former three-time X-Division Champion Trevor Lee. Lee announced the news on Friday at a CWF Mid-Atlantic show. During a promo Lee said:
“This week I was no longer a free agent because I signed a contract to the WWE.”
Lee started wrestling for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla in 2014 and signed with Impact in 2015. Lee did note that his time with CWF Mid-Atlantic wasn’t quite finished, as he retained his title that same evening.
Matt Hardy was one of the first to congratulate Lee on the new contract, writing, “Welcome to The GREAT GAME of the @WWE, @TLee910! Your Father is smiling huge & incredibly proud of you.. Congratulations.”
KNOXVILLE RECEIVES A LARGE DONATION

Knoxville has received the donation promised to them by WWE upon Glen Jacobs being elected mayor. The sum is understood to be a way of compensating the people of Knoxville for periods of time when their mayor maybe halfway around the world, otherwise indisposed. Kane referred to the sum when defending his participation in WWE’s highly controversial Crown Jewel event at the start of November. The money was presented to the Knoxville Public Safety Foundation, which supports first responders and their families after they suffer injury, illness or loss of life.

Recently announced producer of AEW, Billy Gunn has been speaking on Busted Open Radio about his role in the new company. Gunn is the only announced producer so far and he admits that they are still having discussions as to whom he should work with. When asked about the current situation of the company he responded:
“I know I’m the only producer that they have right now, so my role as of right now is just… agent. I might work a little bit also, I might be talent too, which is okay with me. I mean, I work everywhere else, I might as well work for the company that I work for. I wish I could answer that. I really don’t know, because like I said, this literally just happened this week, so we’re still in a process of trying to get things together, so as soon as I know more, then I’ll be able to speak on that a little bit more.”
Gunn when on to speak about what it was like being at the rally, commenting on how engaged the fans were, how exciting it was, describing it as “why I got into the business in the first place.”
