LUCHA UNDERGROUND SETTLE SUITS WITH STARS
In news that resembles the name of the newest reality show, Lucha Central has reported that Lucha Underground has settled the lawsuit brought by its own stars. The lawsuit in question was filed on behalf of Fantasma, Ivelisse, Joey Ryan, and Kobra Moon. It focused around the stars wanting to be released from their contracts with immediate effect. While most of the details haven’t been disclosed, it is understood that the four are now all free agents, free to work with whomever they choose.
Speaking about the case, Andre Verdun, who represented the four wrestlers said:
“I’m honored to say that we received 100% of the relief that we were suing to obtain and four young talented wrestlers are no longer bound by an unfair contract that prohibits them from taking full advantage of their talents at the prime of their career, I wish them all the best of luck.”
JOAN JETT TO PERFORM AT WRESTLEMANIA
WWE announced yesterday that Joan Jett will perform ‘Bad Reputation’ as Ronda Rousey makes her entrance at this year’s WrestleMania.

Writing on their website, WWE said:
“The Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Joan Jett, is a music legend and icon for powerful women everywhere,” said Neil Lawi, Senior Vice President and General Manager, WWE Music Group. “Her performance at this year’s WrestleMania promises to be both exhilarating and inspiring, and we are honored to watch her join a distinct list of extraordinary performers who have lit up the WWE stage.”
Jett will join the likes of renowned artists such as Motörhead, Snoop Dogg, Pitbull, Kid Rock, Diddy, Machine Gun Kelly, Skylar Grey, Travis Barker, and fellow Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Run-DMC who have performed at WWE’s annual pop-culture extravaganza.
AEW HEADING TO CEO
This weeks edition of Being the Elite announced the AEW will be partnering with CEO for a show in Dayton Beach, Florida. CEO, for those who don’t know, bills itself as a fighting game tournament event series.

Dave Meltzer has claimed that Michael Nakazawa from AEW will be taking on CEO organizer Alex Jebailey in a hardcore match.
WWE SPOIL THEIR OWN ANNOUNCEMENT
WWE has apparently spoiled their own WrestleMania announcement, advertising Daniel Bryan vs. Kofi Kingston across social media. Kofi was supposed to have his WrestleMania title match confirmed last week, but can up short when Vince McMahon stacked the deck against him.

FORMER UFC CHAMPION SIGNS WITH AAA
Cain Velasquez has signed with Mexican promotion AAA it has been announced today. Cain, a two-time UFC Heavyweight Champion, announced that he was very excited to be part of Triplemania XXVII and thanked all the Mexican fan who has always supported him. Triplemania is AAA’s answer to WrestleMania and will be held in Arena Ciudad in Mexico City on August 3rd this year.
