AEW WINS SECOND WEEK OF RATINGS BATTLE, BOTH AEW & NXT RATINGS DOWN

AEW Dynamite came out on top in the ratings war for the second week against NXT, but the viewership has dropped overall.

AEW Dynamite dropped 28 percent in total viewers and 32 percent in the 18-49 demo last night, averaging 1,018,000 viewers and a 0.46 rating in that key demo.

NXT was down a similar 32 percent in the 18-49 demographic but down just 11 percent overall, coming in with 790,000 viewers. AEW beat NXT in every demo except for people over 50.

WWE ANNOUNCES RULES FOR THE DRAFT

WWE has revealed the rules for this year’s draft, starting this Friday on Friday Night SmackDown.

The rules are as follows:

  • Over 70 Superstars, as well as tag teams, are eligible for selection in this year’s WWE Draft.
  • SmackDown will draft 30 Superstars, and Raw will select another 41 Superstars.
  • Since SmackDown is a two-hour show and Raw is a three-hour show, for every two picks SmackDown makes, Raw will receive three.
  • Tag teams will count as one pick unless FOX or USA Network specifically wants to pick only one Superstar from the team.
  • Any undrafted Superstars will immediately be declared free agents and able to sign with the brand of their choosing.

WWE DRAFT POOLS ANNOUNCED

WWE has announced the preliminary Draft Pools for the 2019 WWE Draft that kicks off on Friday’s SmackDown from Las Vegas.

ROLLINS VS REIGNS ANNOUNCED FOR SMACKDOWN

WWE has announced Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns as the opening match for this Friday’s SmackDown.

Rollins is representing Raw, while Reigns is representing SmackDown. The stipulation is that if Rollins wins, Raw will get the first overall pick in the draft. SmackDown will get the first overall pick if Reigns wins.

WWE 2K20 ROSTER REVEALED

2K has partnered with YouTube channel Smosh Games and WWE Superstars The New Day to reveal the official roster of WWE 2K20.

WWE REPORTEDLY SIGN SHOTZI BLACKHEART

According to Squared Circle Sirens, WWE has reportedly signed popular indie wrestling star, Shotzi Blackheart, to a developmental contract.

Shotzi was a contestant during WWE’s most recent edition of Tough Enough, however, due to an irregular heartbeat she was unaware of at the time, Blackheart was denied entry into the final 14.

She also appeared as a part of Impact Wrestling in 2018, but broke her ankle shortly after. She also has wrestled for EVOLVE, SHINE and is currently both the SHINE Nova Champion and Sabotage War Of The Genders Champion.

TEDDY HART VS AUSTIN ARIES ANNOUNCED FOR SATURDAY NIGHT SUPERFIGHT

MLW announced today that Teddy Hart will defend his Middleweight Championship against Austin Aries at Saturday Night SuperFight on Saturday, November 2nd in Cicero Stadium in Chicago, Illinois.

At last month’s War Chamber television tapings, Aries attacked Hart while The Hart Foundation were challenging for the MLW Tag Team titles in a two-out-of-three falls match. The Dynasty retained their titles when Hart got counted out in the third fall due to Aries’ attack.
