BACKSTAGE NEWS ON WWE PULLING TALENT FROM UK SHOW

According to PWInsider, WWE pulled several UK talent from Southside’s final show due to their merging with Revolution Pro.

Earlier this month there was an incident at a Revolution Pro event where referee Aaren Wilde was actually attacked during a match after a miscue, leading to his retirement and the wrestler in question, Josh Bodom, getting fired.

Reportedly, this news made its way back to WWE who decided to pull all of its talent as they learned RevPro would be running the final Southside Wrestling event, feeling it wasn’t a safe environment for its Superstars.

On October 26th, Southside Wrestling will hold its final event at the Gordon Craig Theater. It was meant to have NXT UK stars Ligero, Kay Lee Ray, Xia Brookside, Ilja Dragunov, Saxton Huxley, and Joseph Connors. All Elite Wrestling has now helped out sending MJF, Shaun Spears, Cody and Brandi Rhodes out for the farewell in Stevenage.
