As the bell rang, Tehuti Miles threw his towel at Tyler Breeze and went to work with big strikes. Breeze fought back with a big knee and a spinebuster. The two and a suprisingly competitive, back-and-forth contest but experience shone through, as Miles snatch defeat from the jaws on victory by hesistating on a third neckbreaker allowing Breeze in with the Unprettier.
Jack Gallagher defeated Tony Nese via pinfall (rolling elbow)
Two men in the interim NXT Cruiserweight Title tournament had a very competitive match, where both men where triyng to prove a point. We saw some mat wrestling, some stiff strikes and when Tony Nese took control, some high-flying as well.
Nese came close with a ‘crunchy’ piledriver, but a big headbutt from Gallagher gave him an opportunity. He took that opportunity with aplom, dropping Nese with a rolling elbow after an exchange of pinfalls, missed strikes and countered moves.
