WWE FILES POTENTIAL NEW FS1 SHOW TRADEMARK

The company filed to trademark “WWE’s The Bump” on Monday, September 16.

The following use description was provided to the USPTO (United States Patent & Trademark Office):

“A show about professional wrestling; the production and exhibition of professional wrestling events rendered live and through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing wrestling news and information through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing information in the fields of professional wrestling through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing a website in the field of professional wrestling”

There’s no word yet on what show this might be used for, or if it will be the name of the WWE FS1 studio show that is set to premiere on Tuesdays this fall.

24/7 TITLE CHANGES HANDS IN MANILA

At a WWE live event in Manila, The Philippines EC3 briefly captured the WWE 24/7 Title from R-Truth.

Truth then won his 17th 24/7 Championship, pinning EC3 following his match with Chad Gable.

TWO NXT SUPERSTARS INJURED ON LIVE SHOW

It was announced today that NXT Superstars The Velveteen Dream, Arturo Ruas and Kona Reeves are not cleared to compete after suffering minor injuries during Wednesday’s NXT episode.

Reeves was busted open during the pre-show dark match against Damian Priest.WWE Now host Matt Camp revealed that Reeves needed stitches and may have orbital damage. He’s set to be re-evaluated once the swelling goes down.

Ruas reportedly needed x-rays to his fingers following the loss to Pete Dunne and The Velveteen Dream was seen “walking gingerly” after his NXT North American Title loss to Roderick Strong, according to the report. He is suffering from lumbar pain.

JOAQUIN WILDE TO UNDERGO SURGERY

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Joaquin Wilde is set to undergo surgery for a broken eye socket soon.

 Wilde reportedly suffered the injury back in July in what was described as a “freak accident” during training.

Doctors held off on the surgery for a few weeks to see if the injury would heal itself, but now they’ve decided that surgery is the best option.

NETFLIX RENEWS GLOW FOR FINAL FOURTH SEASON

Netflix announced today that they’ve renewed GLOW for its fourth and final season. The critically-acclaimed series, based on the 1980s Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling promotion, debuted in 2017.

TORRIE WILSON ANNOUNCES MARRIAGE

WWE Hall of Famer Torrie Wilson has announced that she got married to Revolution Golf CEO and founder Justin Tupper.

Revealing the news on Instagram, Wilson said;

“I married the most incredible human today & words cannot describe how grateful I am. Just us & the doggies in Sedona. So magical.”
