Love is in the air as Otis and Mandy Rose go on their first date, but is a change in the air regarding the SmackDown Women’s Title?
Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross came out to host a Moment of Bliss. They talked about their celebrity crushes since it’s Valentine’s Day. They introduced Carmella, talking about winning the fatal four-way and promised to defeat Bayley later tonight. Bliss brought up Bayley and Carmella’s close relationship, in which Carmella blamed Sasha Banks for their falling out as Bayley has changed.
Bayley interrupted and got in Carmella’s face, saying he’s beaten Cross and Bliss in a handicap match last summer and can easily beat any of them. Carmella demands to have their match right now and heads to the ring.
SmackDown Women’s Title: Champion Bayley defeated Carmella via pinfall to retain the title
This was a really good opener, definitely one of Carmella’s best matches. Carmella worked the arm of Bayley, with Bayley tying ‘Mella in the ropes to fight back. Carmella dove to the outside and looked in firm control until Bayley dropped Carmella on the announce table and took over with a chin lock back inside the ring. ‘Mella fought back with a hurricanrana but as she went for a superkick, Bayley hid behind the referee and used that to hit a Bayley-to-belly for a near-fall.
Carmella managed to lock in the Code of Silence but Bayley escaped the hold. ‘Mella went for it again, but Bayley fought out and rolled her up using the ropes for leverage to pick up the win.
Post-match, Bayley jumped Carmella from behind and beat her down. Naomi ran out for the save and stared down with Bayley. Carmella then jumped Bayley from behind, and the pair hit kicks to take her out.

Sheamus defeated Shorty G & Apollo Crews via pinfall
Well, it appears Shorty G and Apollo Crews are borderline jobbers at this point. That’s a ridiculous state of affairs. Crews and Shorty G jumped Sheamus before the bell, with Shorty hitting forearms and a big rolling kick. Sheamus eventually took control, but Crews fought back with a moonsault off the apron and then a Shorty G top-rope dropkick with a Crews moonsault in-ring for a near-fall.
Sheamus then tried for a Brogue Kick, but Crews moved and Shorty G ate it. Sheamus threw Crews into the ring post, which Sheamus followed up with another Brogue Kick to pick up the win.
Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviewed Carmella who demanded a rematch and promised to be the next SmackDown Women’s Champion.

They aired a video package on the career of Goldberg and his match with “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt at Super Showdown.
We then hear an interview from Hulk Hogan, who Michael Cole and Corey Graves interviewed from his home in Tampa, Florida. Hogan discussed the NWO getting into the Hall of Fame, and Cole asked if Goldberg can beat The Fiend at Super Showdown. Hogan praised Goldberg and warned Wyatt to be careful. The Firefly Funhouse interrupted, in which Wyatt parodied the old NWO commercials and posed like Hogan. Wyatt mocked Hogan and made several NWO references.
Hogan had heard enough and said Goldberg will beat The Fiend at Super Showdown. Wyatt noted there’s always room for another on his wall. Hogan walked off and indicated he’d see Wyatt in Tampa for the Hall of Fame.
Backstage, Otis heads out for his date with Mandy Rose.
Sami Zayn and Cesaro are in the ring, with Zayn holding a ukelele and Cesaro had a cowbell. Zayn noted they’ve been victims of Elias the last few weeks and are staging a protest concert, but as they were about to begin, Elias interrupted.
Elias knows Zayn is just trying to make a name for himself and Zayn responded to Elias and the fans, telling them to shut their mouths. Elias says he is staging a counter-protest to protest Zayn’s protest concert. Zayn told his security to let Elias in the ring so that he can hear this song. Zayn and Cesaro kept repeatedly trying to start their song, but the crowd interrupted with a loud ‘Walk with Elias’ chant. Cesaro then went crazy with the cowbell and Zayn asked for “less cowbell” (solid SNL reference). The crowd chanted “we want cowbell” but Cesaro put it down to huge boos.
The heels then jumped Elias. Braun Strowman ran out for the save and chased Zayn. A security guard attacked Strowman from behind so Zayn could escape, but Strowman and Elias beat up the guard and tossed him very high over the top rope onto the other guards. This was a lot of fun.
Kayla Braxton interviewed Naomi, who demanded a SmackDown Women’s title shot and noted Bayley never beat her.
We see Mandy Rose still waiting for Otis at their date.
At the restaurant, Otis arrived with a bouquet of red roses and a jacket with the arms cut off. We then see that somebody put their hand on Rose’s shoulder. She assumed it was Otis, but it’s Dolph Ziggler.
Otis turns the corner holding the roses and sees Rose and Ziggler sitting at the table together. Otis was heartbroken and dropped the roses. He ran out of the restaurant as the fans booed.
The Miz and John Morrison headed down to the ring, saying that The Usos have been back for a month and are not there tonight. Miz says he never misses a night and Morrison never missed a night last month.
Before the match, King Corbin appeared in the crowd and sat at ringside.
Roman Reigns & Daniel Bryan defeated The Miz & John Morrison via pinfall
Bryan and Reigns worked over John Morrison in the corner early on, with Bryan hitting a big suicide dive onto Miz as well. Bryan smashed Morrison with the ‘Yes’ kicks but missed his running corner dropkick, and Morrison dragged him to the outside which allowed Miz to throw Bryan into the barrier. Reigns came over to check on Bryan, but got into an argument with Corbin at ringside, allowing Morrison to hit a twisting plancha onto both men to take control.
Miz and Morrison were in firm control, working over Daniel Bryan. Bryan fought back and got the hot tag to Roman Reigns, who ran wild. Reigns slips out of the Skull Crushing Finale, hits a few superman punches and the spear to pick up the win.
Post-match, King Corbin jumped Reigns from behind. Corbin then sat on his throne to end SmackDown.
