HEROIC CAPTAIN SENT WORLD TITLE BY WWE
WWE has honoured Captain Tom Moore with his own championship title to celebrate his 100th birthday.
Moore raised £29 million for the NHS by walking laps of his garden – has been recognised by the WWE for his amazing hard work. WWE Champion Drew McIntyre announced the gift, which features the company’s iconic logo, with special side plates to mark the hero’s milestone celebration when he turns 100 on Thursday.

WWE TOUR OF AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND POSTPONED
Live entertainment company TEG Dainty has announced that WWE’s house show tour of Australia and New Zealand that was scheduled for this August has officially been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
They issued a statement, discuss plans to secure new dates for the tour, saying;
We thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we work with WWE to secure our new return dates. The superstars of Monday Night RAW can’t wait to get back and put on one hell of a show for you in Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland. In the meantime, let’s keep safe, look after each other and we’ll be back with new details very soon.
The tour was scheduled to hit Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland across August 6th, 7th and 8th.
WWE OPEN TO GRANTING TALENT RELEASES
Wrestlevotes have reported that multiple sources have told them how WWE is willing is grant “just about anyone” their release if they want to leave.
So, this may seem that the company is reportedly still looking to make cuts due to tough times brought on by the Coronavirus pandemic.
APOLLO CREWS OUT OF MONEY IN THE BANK
WWE announced after Raw that Apollo would be unable to compete in the men’s Money in the Bank match, due to ‘injury’.
In a statement on WWE.com, they said;
“Apollo Crews suffered a knee injury that left him unable to continue in his United States Championship Match with Andrade on Raw. Due to that injury, Crews will no longer be able to compete in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match on Sunday, May 10.”
This is a storyline injury, happening during his United States Title match with Andrade.
WWE OPPOSE CODY TRADEMARK
World Wrestling Entertainment has filed to oppose recent trademark applications from AEW Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes.
Rhodes filed to trademark “Slamboree” and “The Match Beyond” back on Wednesday, November 13th and Tuesday, November 19th, being published on Tuesday, March 24th of this year.
WWE filed to oppose both trademarks on Friday, April 23. They filed for the standard 90 days to oppose the filing, and were granted the extension. They now have until Wednesday, July 22 to file their opposition.
