Who will be the last woman added to next week’s ladder match? And will Keith Lee enter next week as the North American Champion?
For whatever reason, Tom Phillips is joined at commentary by Sam Roberts tonight. They welcomed us to the show and we got right to the action.
Velveteen Dream defeated Bobby Fish via Pinfall (Dream Valley Driver)
Of course due to the current circumstances we are in, Bobby Fish was all alone. Dream wore his gloves the whole match. At the start of the match Dream had a lot of control, but he did not control the whole match. Fish used his speed and toughness for a bit, before eventually losing.
After his victory, Dream gets a mic and calls out NXT Champion, Adam Cole.
When then got a replay of the attack on Matt Riddle. Malcom Bivens said he had been on the look out for the biggest and baddest tag team. Bivens then introduced the two big men as Rinku and Saurav. He spoke very highly of them and said they are a family: Bivens Enterprises.
Rinku and Saurav then said a few words in their native language. Bivens ended their interview with a warning to the Broserweights.
Dexter Lumis defeated Jake Atlas via Submission (Andaconda Vice)
Dexter Lumis has a pretty haunting entrance, like its eerie. Unfortunately, Atlas had to debut for NXT TV without a crowd, but it was so cool to see him wrestle, even in a losing effort.
Before a commercial, we see Keith Lee preparing for his match that is later tonight.
When we returned from commercial, we were treated to another Killer Kross video. Then we saw a recap of Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano’s brawl around the PC.
Gauntlet Match: Dakota Kai defeated Shotzi Blackheart to be the last entrant in next week’s ladder match
Shotzi Blackheart really was the story of this match. She started the gauntlet and ran through the likes of Deanna Purrazzo, Xia Li, Aliyah, and Kayden Carter. Unfortunately for Blackheart, her last opponent was Kai. Raquel Gonzalez was at ringside and did attempt to interfere. Gonzalez distracted Blackheart, which led to Kai’s victory.
We got another video package to hype up Charlotte Flair versus Rhea Ripley.
Kushida defeated Joaquin Wilde via Submission (Armbar)
I mean come on, these two in a match together? Hell yeah. This was fun to watch and definitely worth checking out. After the match, Kushida gave Wilde a round of applause and a handshake, Wilde wasn’t totally thrilled about it.
Before another commercial we see Dominik Dijakovic preparing for the main event.
We return to a video package of the rivalry between Ciampa and Gargano. After the video, we returned to see McKenzie Mitchell interviewing Joaquin Wilde in the parking lot. He expressed his frustrations about his recent losses. Before he could continue a car pulled up and kidnapped him! That parking lot just ain’t safe.
Keith Lee defeated Dominik Dijakovic and Damian Priest to retain the North American Championship
The three men were given a good amount of time and they used it wisely! They had big spots and put on a great match. Although within the rules of a triple threat match, Priest did introduce the night stick. This led to him hitting Dijakovic in the leg as he was going for his finisher.
No matter the reason, we end the show with Keith Lee holding the North American Championship!
