WWE NXT Results – October 2nd, 2019

Joseph Kingsley-Nyinah runs down the results from tonight’s episode of NXT.

How did Full Sail’s full debut on the USA Network go with those other guys on the other channel?

  • Adam Cole defeats Matt Riddle via pinfall with the Last Shot, with an assist with the cast on his fractured wrist.
  • Afterwards, Finn Balor comes out and fronts up to Cole, and announces he is NXT.
  • Shayna Bayzler/Candice LeRae video package.
  • Velveteen Dream comes out on a couch full of ladies. He says though he has no problem taking on more than one man at a time, Roderick Strong needs to accept his title challenge, unless he’s afraid to step out of the Undisputed’s shadow.
  • Lio Rush video package, Cruiserweight title mach next week.
  • Io Shirai defeats Mia Yim via pinfall with the Asai Moonsault
  • Tegan Nox video package.
  • Johnny Gargano defeats Shane Thorne via pinfall.
  • Shayna Baszler defeats Candice LeRae via submission, retaining the NXT Women’s title.
  • Kushida/Imperium video package. Kushida vs. WALTER next week.
  • Pete Dunne defeats Danny Burch via pinfall with the Bitter End.
  • Afterwards, Damien Priest attacks Pete Dunne from behind.
  • Adam Cole is insisting he beat Matt Riddle with the Last Shot and only the Last Shot when the rest of the Undisputed Era barge into his interview, worried about Finn Balor. Adam says screw that guy, the tag champs need to focus.
  • Street Profits/Undisputed Era video package.
  • Wale accompanies the Street Profits to the ring for their entrance.
  • The Undisputed Era defeat the Street Profits via pinfall, after Roderick Strong interference.
  • Adam Cole comes out to congratulate his stablemates, but then we hear a voice scream “No One Will Survive”. NXT closes with Tommaso Ciampa staring a hole in Adam Cole, while the NXT champion clutches Goldie like the Blackheart used to.
