WWE NXT UK Results – November 7th, 2019

Dei Owen runs down the results from tonight’s episode of NXT UK.

NXT UK once again emanates from the Brentwood Centre, boasting a main event between four former NXT Tag Team Champions in South Wales Subculture and the Grizzled Young Veterans.

Joe Coffey defeated Tyson T-Bone via pinfall

This was a very hard-hitting match. Coffey got the win with the Best For The Bells spinning-lariat.

Alicia Taylor asked Xia Brookside about Kay Lee Ray’s harsh words last week. Brookside said she’s been working harder than ever and is ready to show Ray what she is truly made of.

A video was played hyping the debut of Ridge Holland. NXT UK tapes in Holland’s hometown of Hull next week.

Piper Niven had a VT that told her story of growing up as a wrestling fan. She says she wants to be a role model.

Isla Dawn defeated Killer Kelly via pinfall

Dawn got the win with a bridging German suplex. This was Kelly’s return from injury and she is still yet to win a televised match in NXT UK.

Kassius Ohno vs. Tyler Bate is set for next week.

In a hype video, Ohno promised to extinguish British Strong Style.

Xia Brookside vs. Kay Lee Ray is scheduled for next week.

Travis Banks has his rematch with Ligero next week.

South Wales Subculture (Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster) vs. Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake)

This match was excellent. Gibson was angrier than usual, badmouthing Andrews and Webster throughout the match. This caused James Drake to remind Gibson to stick to the game plan. Gallus came out to watch the match halfway through, as did Imperium later on. This led to a double-disqualification. The match had been fantastic until then, Andrews in particular was very impressive.

After the match, Imperium and Gallus stood off. Ilja Dragunov’s music then hit and he aligned himself with Gallus, much to Imperium’s surprise. The show faded to black as the two factions brawled.

Next week’s NXT UK is the last episode to air from the Brentwood taping. Tapings take place in Hull on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th next week.
