Earlier today, French wrestler Amale announced that she had signed with NXT UK.
Amale will be no stranger to NXT UK fans, having already competed on the brand four times this year. This is even more impressive when NXT UK has been out of action since the UK lockdown was brought in on March 23. Recently there have been stirrings of a new UK based tournament though.

Amale started wrestling in 2012, having her debut match for TWP in Lille. The match, against Lady Lory, went to a time limit draw. Many would assume Amale would go straight after a title when joining WWE considering her prior form. Amale is the current wXw Women’s Champion, 441-day reign, former Women Of KULT Champion, 273 days, and ECTA Women’s Champion, spending 534 days with the belt. With her debut being July 1 2012, Amale has currently spent over 42% of her career as the champion of her promotion. As a comparison, Triple H has spent a combined 1018 days as champion, this equates to 10%, Randy Orton 11%, AJ Styles 22%.
