WWE SmackDown TV Report: 4th April 2014

Hello to all wrestling fans, We are just two days away from the biggest event of the year and I for one cannot wait. I have fond memories of previous WrestleMania’s and I am hoping this Sunday will be no different. It’s been a crazy year filled with controversy and at times outrage. Will the fans get the fairy tale ending that most have been chanting for or will we get another swerve shrouded in boos from the WWE Universe. I think The Authority have been great in recent weeks but how far are they willing to push the crowd. I would expect the WWE Universe to get their payoff this Sunday but I have been wrong before.

Dolph Ziggler vs Titus O’Neil

This week’s opening match is pretty average match. Although I am happy to see Ziggler pick up another win, unfortunately Titus O’Neil looks like junk already. The whole reason why he said he left Darren Young was because he said he hated loosing matches, but he does not seem to be picking up the wins in singles competition either. It looks like the WWE writers have already lost faith in his new gimmick.

The Real Americans vs Los Matadores accompanied by El Torito

This was not the most entertaining match but there were some impressive moments of pure strength from Cesaro whilst he was manhandling whichever Matador was silly enough to get in the ring with him. The Matadores eventually get a little time to shine but all this is ended abruptly when Cesaro manages to catch Diego jumping off the top rope straight into the big swing. Cesaro then finishes him off for the win with the Neutraliser.

This week’s show was comprised of two matches and a really long promo for WrestleMania. Admittedly some of it was good but not really much of a go home show in my opinion. This is possibly the shortest Smackdown review I have ever done but there really is nothing of any substance to report back. All I can say is that I hope you enjoy WrestleMania 30 and whatever the show entails I am expecting at least one memorable moment from tonight, what that will be? I guess we will have to wait and see.
