WWE RELEASES STATEMENT REGARDING THE ARREST OF JEFF HARDY

Late yesterday evening it was announced that Jeff Hardy had been arrested in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for public intoxication and impairment. This is, unfortunately, the latest bullet point in a long list of incidents involving Jeff Hardy and the law. Jeff has been battling substance abuse issues for a long time.

WWE released the following statement regarding Jeff’s latest arrest:

Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions.

Jeff was reportedly released earlier today on a bond that was valued at less than $200.

TWO MORE MATCHES MADE FOR EXTREME RULES

Two more matches have been made for tonight’s Extreme Rules event.

Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor will defend his title against Shinsuke Nakamura on tonight’s pre-show. The match was announced on the pre-Extreme Rules edition of WWE Now.

Another match announced is Kevin Owens vs Dolph ZIggler. First announced by John Pollock of POST Wrestling, WWE confirmed it later on.

INJURY AT AEW FIGHT FOR THE FALLEN

Unfortunately, at last night’s Fight for the Fallen pay per view, Britt Baker seems to have suffered a concussion. Britt and Riho took on Bea Priestley and Shoko Nakajima in a losing effort.

Halfway through the match, Baker looked a little unhappy, after the match we would discover that she’d suffered a concussion. How this was discovered is almost a story in its self.

Aubrey Edwards officiated the match and tweeted after that while hurriedly leaving the venue she lost an earring she’d worn in almost every match she’s refereed.

Aubrey failed to mention why she’d rushed off, leaving it for Britt to clear up. Apparently, Aubrey had spent the evening looking after a concussed Baker.

TAMINA SNUKA SUFFERS POSSIBLE CONCUSSION

Last night, during a RAW Live event, Tamina Sunka is believed to have suffered a concussion.

Snuka was teaming with Sarah Logan, the pair were facing Naomi and Dana Brooke. Naomi hit Snuka with a heavy knee before Brooke pinned her following a split-legged moonsault.

Tamina stayed down in the ring following the match for an extended time, before being helped to the back.

EL PHANTASMO FINISHING UP WITH ATTACK PRO WRESTLING

At ATTACK Pro Wrestling’s ‘RaffleMania 3’, El Phantasmo lost to Cara Noir and many reported on social media that he mentioned that this would be his final match with the promotion.

Rumours have been circulating that he will be moving to Japan to work in NJPW full-time.
