WXW ANNOUNCE WWE AND ROH STARS FOR 2020 16 CARAT GOLD TOURNAMENT

German wrestling promotion wXw have announced two huge names for their 16-man tournament, 16 Carat Gold.

Former NXT Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush has been announced for the three-day event. Rush has wrestled for wXw before, his last match being in 2016.

They have also announced Ring Of Honor star Bandido. He was meant to appear in September of 2019, but has to pull out due to a knee injury.

wXw 16 Carat Gold is taking place at the Turbenhalle in Oberhausen, Germany between March 6th and 8th.

NJPW ANNOUNCE WRESTLE DYNASTY AT MSG

New Japan Pro Wrestling have announced ‘Wrestle Dynasty’ which will see them return to Madison Square Garden. Click here for all the information.

NJPW ANNOUNCES G1 CLIMAX 30 DATES, RETURN OF WORLD PRO WRESTLING

During ‘New Beginning in Osaka’, New Japan Pro Wrestling also announced the dates for this years G1 Climax.

This years tournament will start in September due to the Olympic Games in Tokyo, with it beginning on September 19th and 20th at the Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium. They will also return there on October 10th.

The finals will take place on October 16th, 17th and 18th at Sumo Hall.

In addition, World Pro Wrestling will air on Japanese Satellite Station BS Asahi, on Friday nights at 8PM. This will begin in April.

NAITO VS TAKAHASHI CONFIRMED AT NJPW ANNIVERSARY EVENT

At the conclusion of ‘New Beginning in Osaka’, IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Champion Tetsuya Naito noted that it is a tradition for the Heavyweight Champion to face the Jr. Heavyweight Champion in a non-title match atNJPW Anniversary Event. The IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship is currently held by hid fellow Los Ingobernables de Japon member, Hiromu Takahashi.

Naito called Takahashi to the ring, and challenged him, which Takahashi agreed to on the spot. This will be the first-ever singles match between the two.

The show will take place on March 3rd at Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan.

BLOODSPORT III COMMENTARY TEAM ANNOUNCED

Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Josh Barnett announced via his Twitter account that UFC Hall of Famer and former WWE star Ken Shamrock and ESPN’s Max Bretos will be the commentators for Bloodsport III.

Ken Shamrock also tweeted about the news. He wrote;

“Me sitting this close to this competition is going to be hard to sit still.”

SIERRA LOXTON RETURNS TO PRO WRESTLING CHAOS

British female wrestler Sierra Loxton made a surprise return at a Pro Wrestling Chaos event earlier today.

Loxton made the save for Gideon and Wild Boar, when they were being beaten down by the Hunter Brothers. She saw the brothers off with a kendo stick. Even though this wasn’t an in-ring return per se, it marks a big move following her broken back last year during a match at Pro Wrestling EVE.

The timeline is unknown when Loxton will be returning to in-ring action.
