XAVIER WOODS SUFFERS ACHILLES INJURY

Xavier Woods suffered an Achilles injury at a WWE live event in Australia this weekend.

Woods sustained an injury while teaming with Big E against SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Revival at the event.

Further information about the injury and how long Woods will be out of action hasn’t been revealed.

OPPONENTS FOR VELASQUEZ-MYSTERIO AT WWE MEXICO REVEALED

WWE’s Latin American Twitter account have revealed that Cain Velasquez & Rey Mysterio will face Drew McIntyre & Andrade at next month’s WWE house show in Mexico City.

They revealed the card for the event earlier today, which also includes Universal Championship and Intercontinental Championship matches.

IMPACT WRESTLING ANNOUNCE NEXT PAY-PER-VIEW

During tonight’s Impact Bound for Glory PPV, it was announced the promotion’s next PPV in January will be called ‘Hard To Kill’.

The venue and location were not yet revealed.

JOEY RYAN SIGNS FOR IMPACT WRESTLING

Joey Ryan, who made a surprise appearance at Bound for Glory, has officially signed for Impact Wrestling.

This marks his return to the promotion, as he was previously under contract with the company from 2012 to 2013.

Josh Mathews made the announcement on the Bound For Glory broadcast, and Joey Ryan confirmed it on his social media. He will still be able to work indie dates.

TWO MATCHES MADE FOR CHAPTER 97

PROGRESS have announced two matches for this Sunday’s Chapter 97; Sex Robots Will Be Eventually Capable Of Murder.

The N.I.C will be getting their rematch with Do Not Resuscitate. N.I.C’s main chapter debut ended in defeat at Chapter 93, so they have demanded a rematch.

William Eaver will also challenge for the PROGRESS Proteus Title, facing the champion Paul Robinson.

This will be Robinson’s second title defence, after beating Travis Banks at Chapter 96 in Manchester. Eaver was the last person to defeat Paul Robinson, at Chapter 94 in London.

PAC TO FACE AMAZING RED AT BRITISH J CUP

All Elite Wrestling’s PAC will face cruiserweight wrestling legend Amazing Red in the opening round of RevPro’s British J Cup 2019.

Robbie Eagles, El Phantasmo, Barbaro Cavernario, Michael Oku, Rocky Romero, and Senza Volto are the other six participants in this one-night tournament on November 24th at York Hall in Bethnal Green.

No other first round matches have been announced.

LA PARKA SERIOUSLY INJURED

La Parka suffered a serious injury on Sunday night at a show in Arena Coliseo in Monterrey, Mexico.

La Parka went to do a suicide dive and ended up crashing headfirst into the barricade, hitting his head on the barricade and potentially the floor as well. He was rushed to the emergency room after saying he could not feel his arms or legs. He regained feeling to his extremities as he was under observation.

He underwent surgery at 5AM this morning, and AAA announced it was successful and he is now in recovery.

Reports are suggesting that La Parka suffered a neck & cervical fracture and the operation was “to relieve pressure” and to repair a fractured vertebre.
